I've spotted Turning Point: Fall of Liberty for £2.96, is it worth it? I've heard the game is pants but is it worth it at that price? Also seen Universe at War: Earth Assault for £4, is it any good?

Turning point is very consolish, very "original COD engine like" type of point to point, locked path game that feels a lot as if developers were on drugs. It plays like something Tesco would develop in Albania 10 years ago to give away in "buy computer and get 100 games bundle for £99" and someone made a mod with nice comics textures for it.
At £2.96 it's about £2.46 overvalued and in terms of game experience score, for PC gamers it's about 1 out of 10.

picked up a copy of turning point & brothers in arms hells highway for 98p each today. got next week off work hopefully they should keep me amused for a few hours

Universe at War is well worth a look imo - does things a bit differently to most RTS games (don't let the opening tutorial level put you off).

I picked it up for £1.97 a while back, and having just looked, you can now get it for 98p inc delivery - has to be worth a play for that.
