Turok (1997) Remastered.

Man.... the memories... loved Turok, played it so much when the N64 was new.

Probably because I could afford so few games for it at ~£50 a pop!

Sorely tempted...

This game was mindblowing on 3DFX Voodoo when it came out. But Jedi Knight and Quake 2 and Unreal came out shortly after, Half Life year after that, and all those were vastly better than Turok.

loved turrok on n64; but as Paul points out Jedi Knight came out and pretty much my group of friends was done :D we ****ed off a few people in deathmatch in that game.......I'd run around with c3p0 skin as a jedi and slaughter people......

I shall also be waiting until the price drops a bit. It's nice to see some of these older titles get a bit of spit and polish, though. :)

Seems they did loads but no new textures? :(

New features include:

Support for high resolutions, and widescreen
Improved gameplay and level design
OpenGL for video backend to provide portability and support for vertical sync
Dynamic lighting, bloom, FXAA, enhanced water effects, lights shafts and more
Ability to freely rebind all keyboard, mouse, and gamepad inputs
Steam Achievements

Goldeneye next rite!? :D

Tbh watching that video I reckon if you stuck the n64 original on a crt, you wouldn't notice much difference.

I remember it being cool at the time purely because of the mystic of dino's and ** Do not attempt to bypass the swear filter, all swearing should be starred out ** guns. Actually playing it was more to do with tedious platforms in a limited space.

Bit of a loss as to why they bothered redoing it, beyond making a few people happy.

Was a great game at the time, really enjoyed it.

Really liked the one big level format rather than the multiple levels on the second game.
