So my dog just broke my creative fatality headset which i have had for 2 years , he must have ran past the wire, the cable end came out the pc and the headphones itsself came flying off my head.. dont think i can fix them anyway..

iv been using the above hooked upto my monitor for playing my xbox as well as using them as pc headset, now that there finally past it after a good 2 years of solid gaming its time for a new set, but i was thinking mabe it would be good to get a xbox 360 headset while im at it so i have been thinking about the Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 ..

my question is will this headset work with a PC as well as the xbox360

also would the mic work with the pc?

Yes and yes.

They have the standard speaker and microphone connections aswell as stereo adapters to allow it to be used with the Xbox.

do u think it is worth it , im not much of a talker tbh so the mic would be rarely used if at all , but i would like it there anyway just incase ,

what is the sound quality like on them compared to the creative headset do u know? will i be losing / gaining my awareness of ppl around me in game 360/pc

I have these and they do an ok job. Only thing I don't like is that I cant alter the sound levels from others mics and game sounds separately.

You're doing it wrong then.

The puck controls the voice channel and the main lead mounted cable block controls the audio. Have you got voice setup to headset rather than speaker?
