Turtle Beach Earforce X12 and Xbox One

Hi

I have bought my Son an Xbox One with the new 3.5mm controller for Xmas. Will he be able to use his Turtle Beach Earforce X12 headset with the XBOne or will he have to buy a new headset?

Looks like it. Not sure if that will bring up the x12 but when you select it, seems like it should work.

Doesnt the new controllers have both new and legacy connections?

If they do, any headset should work fine.
