Turtle Beach X1 + New 360?!

OK so I have just upgraded my elite to a new 250gb 360 as I managed to get it for 130 new.

Now I can not work out how I use my old turtle beach x1's with it. With the elite I had an extra audio dongle to go just above the HDMI. With the new xbox the component lead has a little noggin on so you cant use HDMI at the same time. The old audio dongle doesnt feel a good fit either as its a slightly different shape.

Do i need another dongle or should I just stick it in my amps pre outs?

I know what you mean, but what I did is took the plastic casing off from around the component lead that fits into the back of the xbox.

You can use the HDMI as well then.

I was in the same situation as you when I got my headset, so did a quick search and it said to do that on the turtle beach website lol.

I've done the same trick with the casing, you can also get one of these things for a couple of quid on the bay.
