Turtle Beach X11 setup

Hi Guys,

Just using this mic at the moment on my 360, should the mic be setup so when I speak in the mic I can hear myself? Granted it's very quiet but it's annoying, I'm certainly not as loud as other people but I don't think it should be like this?

I'm sure my X1 never did this...

Any ideas?

Yeah It's a feature of the headset, Mic monitoring lets you hear what you are saying, the theory is, you can hear what you are saying so you don't have to yell :-/ you do get used to it though.

Are you saying it's an echo so you hear what you say after you said it or is it instantly?

Instantly on mine, I don't notice it when I'm in a game but if it's all quiet then I notice it.
