I come from a ps4 back ground and as such I have the turtle beach elite 800. I love them to bits.
I have fitted an optical splitter so that both optical from my ps4 and PC go to the receiver. All I have to do is swap the USB from one to the other which is no big deal.
The issue I am facing is this though. On the ps4 the game sounds are sent out via the optical and the chat sound (in and out) are sent out via USB. This gives me independent volume control for both game and chat.
I can't see to work out how to do this on a PC. I got all the sound going out via optical and it pics up mic as a mic but it plays the chat audio out via optical not the USB.
Anyone know how to fix this?
