We have the party for all finalists coming up next week at Warwick University and my housemates and I were thinking of hiring tuxedos for the event.

We have already looked at MossBros, but were wondering if Tesco and Asda have something that is cheap but still looks good. Our local Tesco does not have anything and the nearest Asda is miles away, so I was wondering if anyone on these forums knew the sort of things either shop stocked and their prices?

What's wrong with hiring one from Moss Bros? It's only about £40. If you want to buy a good dinner jacket you'll have to pay.

Well I was thinking that by spending £55 more I can get something that will last me a while. This will be the 3rd time I am hiring a tux for Warwick events, so it would have been worth while if I had bought one the first time.

I graduate from my Masters this year and when I am working, I am sure it will come in useful.

That was my thinking anyway...

They do sell it instore, I've got that one myself and it's absolutely fine for evening wear. I'd not buy a "real" suit for that money if you get me, but for a DJ? Ideal.

Would you say it was alright for a ball?

Yeah i was gunna get this for my prom, cheapest thing out there, but then my Local M&S didnt stock it, so i had to resort to river island. £85 suit in the end

If my local shop does not have it in stock, I will try on the nearest match, note down the sizes and order it online. I just need to have it by the 19th

Plus, I can get Quidco online
