The question I have is this.. can i access that tv inputted tv feed over the wirless network to watch in my room.. ??

For information.. i get about 54mg wireless connection. Give or take the odd mg.

Cheers for any responses

I think you may be able to use a dreambox dvb-s. Other than that there is the slingbox but that is aimed more for broadband streaming.

VLC can do this. Someone asked a very similar question. You maybe able to find it using the search function, but I can't recall the exact question.

A cheaper alternative is to use a tv extender to transmit the analogue TV signal to receiver at your PC ( £25 :) ) connected to the TV-in

BUT, watch out and make sure you ahve a good return policy with place you buy from. We have interference from the wirless LAN radio signal causing additional noise on the TV audio :( Tried all the channels on the extender and on the w-lan and can't remove it compeltely. It's fine for normal listening. If it's something particulalry quiet then I switch off the w-lan router :)
