Hello OcUKers..

I'm planning to keep a ISK300-150 in a TV cabinet, and most of the time its unlikely to be stressed. On weekend I expect it to be running 24/7 though but probably downloading.

The TV cabinet is not well ventilated and I don't really want to put holes in it. The ISK300 doesn't really warm up at all at the moment on idling (its got a A10-7850 and got 3 fans to support it).

Do you think it will be safe in a enclosed TV cabinet, is there a fire risk or any such thing?

I'm fairly sure it will be fine, but just thought I'll check with you guys in-case I've missed something obvious.

Put some temperature monitoring software on the system and do a Prime 95 run for an hour or so inside the TV cabinet. See how hot and loud things get.

But you won't hit any level of temperature that could be a fire hazard.
