TV can't find media on networked disk.

Hi,


I have a OLED55B6V connected to a wired networked Seagate cloud media HDD storage device.

After moving files to the storage it sometimes takes the TV 4 or 5 attempts at finding the new files. Upto 5 mins, which is a serious pain when you sit down to dinner and have to wait so long . I refresh, I restart the tv, I kill the app (photo and video webos3)


Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Is there a faster way to make the TV refresh the drive contents? Is there something to change on the Seagate?

I have a Seagate cloud device, it is both hard wired and wireless connected to several devices, including a tv, tablet, phone, and pc. No issues with any of them to be honest, they all access the media via Plex, and the device is set up as a Plex server, with the relevant Plex software installed on it, which you can do from the IP menu.

Are you just accessing the files on the drive via a browser? or using a media server like Plex? if not, it may help.

Short of that, I can only suggest the TV or network perhaps has an issue. Do you experience similar delays if you access the media using other devices?
