I want to view 1 channel on my PC, e.g sky TV (in real time)

Using composite out (yellow connector) - Video Only

Could I use a capture card? or would I need a analogue TV card?
 
Bit of both.....You do need an analogue input, but there are some GFX cards that have this built in. They are not typically high end gaming cards though.......I'd assume the chances of running an analogue input stage, mere millinetres away from a screaming GPU....and on the same circuit too.......are somewhat minimal.
