Hay guys,

I just got my TV today, and ok, simple question, how do i hook up my MCE computer to the TV?

I mean it seams i have one input to put the areial into the PCI TV card, and then what?

I copied exactly whats written on the card

WINTV PAL-1
44915-REV C324

What are you trying to do? If you want to get TV on your pooter, you should be connecting an aerial to the computer, not a TV to it (unless your TV has an aerial out). If you want to get images from your computer onto your TV, I don't think a TV card is the device to do it...

OK so yea, i want to use my TV basicaly as a monitor, down load, stuff to it, and watch it on my TV, so a TV card is the wrong thing to use? what is the correct thingy to use??

It's been a while since I looked at TV cards, but I don't think they output images. A decent graphics card will often have a TV-out, or you can probably buy specialist cards that do it. Don't quote me on that tho.

OH ok, well, thats back to the drawing board for me then! lol

this is not good, i really wanted an MCE PC you know, so i could just download stuff and watch it, Keep it playing music with friends over and have the cool, Windows Media player playing music with the Random stuff on screen, and also it could have doubled up as a DVD player.

Also i could record stuff to the HDD, so does anyone know what i need?

Here is the system spec at this time

AMD 46 3400+ Skt 754 (part of my old Gaming rig!)
Asus K8N-E
AGP X8 slot
1.5GB RAM
