Installed Vista Home Premium OEM (64bit), all working fine and dandy, but Media Centre doesn't pick up my WinFast TV2000 XP Expert PCI card :(
It works fine on it's own Winfast PVR software, but I'd rather use the Media Centre, as it's far more aesthetically pleasing.
Any ideas what I might be able to do to get it working?
If not then anybody know of a card that is compatible?

(I've installed the latest Vista 64 drivers btw)

its only for vista 32bit Media Center

i use Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT Dual DVB-T TV Tuner (PCI-Express) it works with vista 64bit..

Mine is in that list and does work in Vista 64 as stated, but Media Centre simply won't pick it up, so I have to use the Winfast PVR software, which is ugly as hell.

yes your's is in that list but as vista 32bit not 64bit.. if u had vista 32bit i think Media Center would pick it up... its the drivers thats tells Media Center to see it or not...

If you do have to change, I'm glad to say the Hauppage Nova T-500 is working nicely for me in Vista (Ultimate) x64, and the remote even works nicely in Media Centre. It lacks a couple of the buttons I've come to rely on with the MS remote (the live TV button mainly), but it's a nice chunky remote with good buttons.

Maybe you misread my original post, I've got WinFast TV2000 XP Expert, which that table does say works with Vista 64bit.
Odd that MC won't pick it up though, might just get rid on the MM and invest in one of the one's suggested.

i too have a Nova-T 500, but my path to 64bit Media Center goodly goodness was a tad more fraught, which involved reg chopping & BIOS tweeks

can't be ar$ed to detail all again, so... take a look here

Tiss all workin now... but that poxy card nearly ended up being used for target pratise  ...and it brought back all the bad memories of why i stopped using Hauppauge card many years ago

Just thought I'd add my 2p. I'm currently in the process of RMAing a Hauppauge 500 T, have given up trying to get it to work satisfactorily with Vista 64 (I'm getting the 'no tuner' problem after resuming from sleep). Will probably replace it with the terratec.

mcwildcard: sorry for the hijack! HEADRAT: do you know if the 'no tuner' problem is common with the terratec, and are there any fixes out there? TV cards with sleep problems are really ruining my life at the moment - OK so that's a bit of an overstatement but they are ruining by HTPC...
