Ah, erm, ok, well I have hit a kind of barrier at the mo.
more than one actually but they are all kind of linked.
First of all, I have TV cards coming out of my ears. Most are BT848 based and these are so old, that even Win95 tells me to sod off... Annoyingly, they were great back then.
Then I have a number of Kobian / Mercury jobs... Also got Pinnacle, Leadtek and Philips/Creatix.
Actually, the Philips are 7134 chipset based, but, funkily enough, so are the Mercury / Kobian ones and yet the drivers are so bloody awkward taht some drivers work for one and dont work for others, and NONE now work for their proper original card.
Anyway, my main problem is this :-
An App that actually works in XP64 that lets me record using the TV CARD?
I cannot for the life of me find one that actually works?
Funnily enough, I have ( I think ) found drivers for the card that I am currently trying and this one is the V-STREAM ( Another one based on the 7134 Chip ) and the device manager seems to be happy with it, but no software I have will run with it?
Anyone got anything to try?
ChrisTV, ShowShifter etc dont work.
Im really really annoyed with myself here cos at this time, I have moved fully to 64Bit and I only want to get a few home vids over to DVD and I cannot do it.
It looks like Im going to have to sort out a PC with 32Bit XP doesnt it?
Anyway, if you can offer support for that then let me know please...

Ok, issue No2
I bought a Leadtek DTV1000S and that works just spanky in XP64.
Trouble is, its Digital.
Absolutely useless for me as we are not yet on Digital!!!
I have tried scanning etc with this card but the best I have managed is a black screen? - Does this card have any way to do Analog?
Like I said, it seems to work, but its hard to tell cos a black screen, ok, well window, doesnt really let you in on the action does it?
