Do you have anything plugged into it at all? With no aerial whatsoever it won't pick up much.
it doesn't pick up nothing with a aerial plugged in!
... and its Avermedia, model dvb-t super 007What OS are you using, if windows Xp MCE you need at least SP1 to get it to work properly. Also, with a hauppage card I had to install the Hauppage software, even though I wasnt using it (using Media center) for it to work properly.

I doubt it is a problem with anything other than the reception.
If you are using one of those stupid little indoor aerials then that's likely to be the problem. Do you have a normal set-top box around that you can compare signals with.
Where I am we just about get a usable signal from a loft aerial and I certainly wouldn't get a thing through an indoor loop or whatever you have.

I've got a ComPro tv dvb-t card and that picks up **** all with a portable tv aerial. Digital TVs not like analog where you get a puzzy pic, if the signals not good then you'll get nadda. I even went to a high street catalog company and got an amplified aerial, that managed to pull in some channels but I had to have the aerial on top of my head for it to work, no good really so returned the aerial. In summer I'm going to run an aerial feed to the PC but for now the card is installed but can't be used.
