Wasn't sure where to stick this, hope I've got the right section.
OK, at the moment I am paying £50 something a month for 20MB BB, a phone and Virgin TV.
I rarely watch TV, the only things I do watch are Top Gear and F1. I refuse to pay for Sky Sports as I only watch a handfull of the football matches anyway.
I have a mobile phone which I use much more than the Virgin phone. I phone the 08** numbers from work so in reality the Virgin phone rarely gets used.
My Virgin box is hooked up to my monitor so I was thinking of downgrading my package to BB only (I think it's about £35 a month) and sacking off the TV Box and phone and purchasing a TV Card for my TV needs.
Is this a good idea? I would like one where I can record programmes to my HDD and do a series link thing etc.
Knowing nothing about them I am unsure what to go for. I would like one that can do HD recording if there's any about. I also don't want to break the bank but the £20 a month saving will pay for it soon I guess.
