I don't want to pay for Sky/Virgin for my computer room.

Easily, I would rather use a TV card of sort... But don't have a ariel cable or what ever is needed that goes to the dish.

What options have I got?

it's my understanding that a tv card internal or external needs a aerial or cable connection to work, you could try a internal aerial as there cheap and most have boosters, just get the latest one's as you can still buy none digital ones out there that will no longer work

then an aerial from tesCo / AsDa or arGos, both cheap and cheerful, job done as long as you get a good signal in your house / room

Internal aerials in my experience are bloody awful, even in a good signal strength area. You'd be best off putting a splitter on an existing aerial, or installing a new aerial in the loft and cabling down.

and if you live in flat ( not everyone lives in a house ) you might have to hang it out of the window or connect it up the the communal one :)....but all that said the reception is probably going to be pretty bad
