Behind you... Naked!
I have a bundle of TV cards.

Most probably dont work, but I also know that given their age, they quite probably wont be compatible with anything other than XP and below.

Not an issue.

I do however have 2 digital ones... I have tried the newer leadtek, but the Media PC does not see any kind of card added, and so, I tried the KWOLRD one, and that did.

Now, I have been having issues trying to get the KWoprld card working... It did, worked fine and now it wont play ball no matter what I try.

The thing is, that I also saw that the card would not work with Windows Media Center, only its own software.

Another thing I have done, is looked around at some newer TV cards and I find that the prices are somewhat sickening to me.

Can anyone suggest a really cheap TV card that is both digital and works in Win 7 / 64Bit and will work with Windows Media Center, and perhaps, even better, with KMPlayer.

Thanks.

Thanks FJK

I have just had a peek and thats a USB device.

I was more hoping for PCI to be honest.

That said... It does seem to be happy to deliver 1080 Digital TV so ...

You recommend it then? Ok, I will risk it.

Thanks.

no. it might claim to do HD tv but not in this country. it's dvb-t which is bog standard freeview. if you want freeview HD, you'll need a card/dongle that supports dvb-t2 and these are considerably more expensive.

LOL I just been toying with the one I have here, and I got it working with Media Centre in Win 7

I removed everything to do with it, and reinstyalled the downloaded drivers ONLY and the Downloaded remote and Media Center thingy although I probably didnt need that load, just the drivers, because MCE saw it and tuned in the TV etc etc just fine.

I have set it up to record ALL Emerdales and Coronation Streets, however I saw that it was not only recording ITV but also ITV2 and ITV +1 and ITV2+2 etc etc etc...

Also, the Media PC is only setup with a single SSD for C: and a pair of old 400GB Drives in Raid for D:.... I have a soare 3TB so I will have to plonk that onto it tomorrow, but I should be able to at least have a trial.

Oh, and I have just been watching some Live TV... Its good.

The card I am using is a KWorld DVB-T PCI job.
