Added a GFX recently on a friends PC. HD6450

Attached HDMI to the card, aswell as the monitor cable.

Last night, duplicated the desktop so that whatever showed on the monitor was to show on the TV.

Had to use the overscan option to stretch the image a little, as the monitor was only 1440x900. Tv is 1920x1080.

Had a message today that the TV is showing the desktop, but the monitor is showing nothing except for a message about out of date drivers?

Drivers arent out of date, used the latest when i installed the GFX card.

Ideas of top of the head? Im stumped without looking at it, which i can't do at the moment!

It could be that if both screens are connected, on reboot the pc detects the hdmi first and detects the 1920x1080 resolution and sets accordingly. Since the monitor is a lower res it then has issues trying to mirror it.

Not sure on the drivers message on the monitor - unless it's a generic inbuilt message displayed by the monitor when it has no signal or an out of range one?
