I've just moved flat and my TV, a 50 inch knock off brand (UMC marketed as Blaupunkt) is no longer working properly.
Got a proper dark spot in the centre of the screen and the right hand side, maybe 10cm in or so has a proper lag to it so when the screen changes there's a delay of a few seconds before it fades over.
Does it sound like it's totally dead? I paid a man and van to move and put some bubble wrap round the tv and then put it in the original box but it wasn't perfect.
I was hoping maybe it just needed a bit of time to warm up, as you do, but I left it on for a good half an hour and it made no difference.
