Is it possible to get laptops with graphics cards that already have TV capability (AIW?)? If not what is the best way of getting TV on a laptop? I've seen USB and PCMCIA adaptors but don't know if they are any good. Anyone got any advice/experience of these?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have good reception where you live ? The arials with these things tend to be rubbish and it kind of defeats the object of using a laptop if it's got a damn great coax cable tying it to the wall.

Will be using a coax so the aerial isn't a problem :) My girlfriend is in the RAF and she will be moving about quite a bit so wants a laptop as it's more portable :)

Thanks for the replies guys.

Unless your using a roof mounted aerial then its not worth the hassle. With a decent aerial, PC TV cards are awesome, without, they are just poo

It'll be a roof-mounted aerial in her barracks. Think she's going to go for a Dell external one.

Ok, decided she wants an internal one but I'm not sure what the 'mini card' slots are on the Inspiron 1720, does anyone know if you can get a tv tuner for these slots?

Thanks a lot.
