Hello everyone,

Need some advice.
I've stripped my house so now is a good time to do this, but unsure how practical.
I want to put my equipment, namely PS4 and Sky Box under the stairs and place my TV on the wall in the living room.
Spoke to my builder he said he can do it but I need to supply him with the cables now for him to run them, this to me means if something goes wrong with anything, it will not be future proof and I will not be able to change them. I asked him about a trunk to run under the floor but he mentioned the turnings are too many for me to be able to feed the cables through it, think he said 4... which will mean the cables will not be able to be fed through from 1 end to the other, there is only about a 1m gap from the wall where TV would go and under the stair case, where Ps4 and Sky box will go, its just the passageway in between.
What are the options/suggestions for my set up.... I assume it should be possible but unsure how?
Some pictures of how others have done it, if possible, will be great

You can get skirting boards that allow cables behind them, if that helps? On show trunking looks a bit naff. A tidy hole covered up offers freedom, i did that but was just for ethernet, and behind a cabinet both sides.

I can't really picture the layout you're describing. 4 turns of trunking, under a floor?
You could just use waste pipe if you wanted underfloor cables secured, they have curved bends. But i feel i'm missing something here?

So are the cables running from the TV, into the wall to below floor level, across and under the floor of a passage way and then up and into the space under the stairs ?

If it were me, I would have a whole in the wall behind the TV which is like the draft excluder of a letter box ( lots of bristles ) which would allow various wires to feed through easily. then have a large open trunk down the inside of the wall to under floor. Then under the floor just open cabling to under the stair area where it rises into the stair space ( possibly using a similar truck and bristled opening. This would rely on you being able to get under the floor ... not too difficult if you have a floor hatch under the TV and in the stair space. You should be able to reach around to run / move cables as you need over the years like that. Just pull back the carpet and unscrew the hatch.

You will run into issues with cable length though, and controller signal strength surely if its trying to get through multiple walls.
