TV out? how can i use it?

hi all, i got a radeon 9250 which is a vivo card with tv in and out.

question is: can i use the card to e.g play a film in fullscreen on the telly while i use the pc monitor to do net surfing?

is this possible or is there a restriction on the tv out where it shows nothing but a duplicate of whats on the monitor?
