Hi there.

Have been trying to get TV-Out working on the above GFX card (Sapphire version) with the supplied cables but to no avail so far.

Trying to connect to an old 20" CRT TV with only a scart socket on the back. Originally i had it working with my old 9800pro with a cable i bought, but when i use this same cable i only get a black and white picture.

When looking at the connectors on the GFX card and the cable, there appear to be more holes on the card than there are pins on the cable.

Would i need to get an adapter of sorts, as there doesnt appear to be one supplied with my card.

Cheers in advance.

SCART to RCA Phono Audio Video/S-VHS Adaptor/Convertor adapter should help

Yes, if you have the ps2 version give it a go it may just do the job :)

The black and white problem can be casued by a ntsc signal being sent from the pc to the tv when the tv is set for or is primarily Pal, though I can't remember ever having to set a pal/ntsc soft switch in the graphics gui when I did this myself, not unless your pc is setup for another region other than the Uk/Usa this may automatically change the video card output. It would be worth checking the region settings in windows to see what is set.
