Just rebuilding my media centre and having a problem with the TV Out on my X800 256MB AGP card. Am using 8.7 drivers.
When the computer loads, TV out (TV) displays boot screen, but once it reaches XP login screen, it switches to Monitor - plugged in for testing and setup (Better res). If no monitor is plugged in, TV turns off anyway.
I have set the catalyst software to output to TV, but keeps defaulting back to above.
Last attempt, I setup a profile on catalyst to output to TV, restarted and boot screen on TV, then both switch off on XP login screen!!!
Am going barmy. Any advise?
