Hi,

Not sure if this should be in graphic cards or monitors...

My daughters pc has a gf fx5200 with tv out and i got her a tv/dvd combo with pc input. Im using a s-video cable between the two but i cant get a very good pc picture at all... It seems like way too much color and its blurry too, just about readable but not good. Ive tried all the settings on the gfx tab under tv but no good..
It is 15" with a res of 1024 which the pc is set to,

What else can i try to get a decent picture pls?

Mike

Don't expect much. 640 - 800 will be your best chances for an 'acceptable' picture and I use that term loosly when using composite/RGB Scart/S-video on most normal televisions from a pooter. You will most likely still find the desktop to be blurry, but if you play a dvd through it or a native res xvid etc it should look miles better.

The tv has a pc input but without the cable im using the s-video..

Would i get a propper pic off the pc input if i get the propper cable and use the pc channel tho?

Mike

[Edit] Durrrrrrrrr :/ Ive got a cable here, just tried it.. bloomin perfect!!!

Thanks,

Mike
