Vikings...up until a pivotal point in S4, it was well written and engaging, it then descends into what feels like a parody of itself with over acting and poor characters decisions from that point on. I'm 3 episodes into S6 and have been for months, trying to power through and finish off with fond memories of how good it was at the start.
I stopped at the end of season 4. Basically when Ragnar died I didn't care anymore.
I should have, once it focuses on his sons, it gets very poor.
It doesn't help that Bjorn comes across as a total drip. The guy who plays Ivar is excellent though.
Hmmm, i'm not sold on Ivar, he has moments of brilliance and menace but after half a season of it, essentially S5 onwards, he's pantomime villain quality.
Red Dwarf, most of it past about season 5 was utter crap. It should never have been remade.

I did go onto The Last Kingdom after I gave up with Vikings as folk were raving about it, managed to about halfway through S2, it was barely as good as the later Vikings seasons.I stupidly saw it through to the end, great TV that just died, that whole Floki story-line was an utter disaster, I think it sunk the show just as much as anything else.
