Hi,

I am after a way to add a calendar to my Google Calendar account that shows the schedules of tv programmes I want to watch.

I don;t obviously want EVERY programme showing up but just the ones I am interested in.

I know there is a site called Calendar for TV (CAT) and that allows you to select the programmes each month that you are interested in and then it'll show the schedule for those on your calendar via an ics file.

The issue is that it seems to be for the US only. Is there anything similar for the UK and the standard digital freeview channels?

I have just tried the same out of interest and could only add hole channels such as CBS, and BBC which is no good if you only want xx at 9pm Mondays. I will keep looking as I want this now, as it would be very useful.

thanks. Bascially a service which showed the UK's TV schedule just like tvguide.co.uk does which would allow you to create a customised calendar of programmes you want to watch. Then those show up each day on your calendar and you keep updating it with new programmes weekly or whenever you have a free moment. If you forgot or didn;t update the website then the calendar would obviously go blank but this is what I am after. A personalised customisable TV show calendar which you update weekly or whenever.

Something like this would be extremely useful and i'm sure many people would use it.

I ahve my daily calendar automatically emailed to me every morning so being reminded that a programme I wanted to watch is on later that day would be excellent.

Another feature which would be useful is series support so if you chose to add an episode from a series of programmes, it would automatically add an event to the calendar for all the epidosed left of the series.

Thanks

Neil

I have added an idea about this to tvguide.co.uk's getsatisfaction page. If you agree about it, go and show your support at the getsatisfaction page.
