TV Shows now on UK iTunes

No official announcement!

I'm guessing they put these on now to make way for the Apple Expo's big iPod announcement :)

Not stealing the thunder so to speak

32.99 for a series. wow.

edit// this is for ugly betty anyway.

Just googled and found that you can get the DVD boxset for £29.99 delivered from a reputable retailer. Unless they drop the prices on iTunes by a significant amount, I wouldn't even think of using it

Theres another solution, buy a voucher from ebay and download it form the US store. Its cheap and lets you watch it before the UK and for those like me who don't have sky at Uni (lol who does) it gets you Lost and such like.

What happened to putting on movies as well? Although they'll probably be a bit expensive too :(

Quality seems pretty good actually - you can preview each episode by double-clicking on it :)

As I have said before about this steve jobs said they would be in europe in early 2007 and its now Late-Mid 2007 and there is no sign, perhaps the tv shows were slipped in because of their price and lack of range so he can have movies on the announcement of the new wide screen uber cool ipod on tuesday! Woot!

They need to be about half that price before they become an attractive option I'm afraid. Not giving me a box, a disc, or having to post it to me should make it cheaper than Amazon, not more expensive.

Edit: Not to mention my DVDs aren't totally useless if I decide that I want to watch them on something that isn't an iPod or an authorised Mac or PC, like, you know, a TV.

Doesn't matter what the picture quality is like, all the shows are complete garbage. Unless you live off a diet of My Super Sweet 16th and Pimp My Ride to the extent that you would pay for episodes, it's a case of move along, nothing to see here.
