I am torn between a 55 and 65 OLED (LG C8).

I have an open plan kitchen extension I want to put a TV in. The room is naturally segmented in half, whereby the bottom bit Of the picture is the kitchen and top is the dining area. The picture below gives an idea

The table is a long 8 seater dining table, and I tend to sit on the left hand side of the picture. I think 65 is the right size given the viewing positions of the table vs the wall, but worried the TV will look like a massive monolithic relic. The room is very bright and the walls very tall which help.

I am leaning towards 65? I am also going to use a motorised mount which could allow me to watch whilst cooking etc

What did you snag it for if you don't mind me asking?

Sure, £1709 as today district electricals reduced it. Not getting it delivered until mid August (where it's being mounted needs sorted first).

Going to get the wall setup correctly (chased conduit in etc), and it's going on the Vogel 7356 motorized mount (RS doing 25% off mounts). Sonos beam that I have to sit underneath it all. The beauty of the mount is that i have bifold doors nearby and it should allow me to swivel the TV nicely so that can be watched from garden too
