TV software EPG

I have never run the EPG software update I believe it is sent over TV aerial broadcast, but make/model specific EPG are sent at certain dates/times.

I have a pioneer LX-5090, anyone know where EPG is available for this TV?

The Over The Air (OTA) update service is dead. https://www.a516digital.com/2018/02/end-of-over-air-freeview-tv-software.html

Any products that needed it are now considered past the end of the service support life for updates, or they can be updated via other means such as USB or a direct internet connection. Part of the issue for the OTA system was the size of the payload it could carry. As devices became more sophisticated so the file size for updates outgrew the capacity of the OTA system to deliver them within a sensible download window.
