OK, I'm not sure if there is an answer to this one, may be really obvious or may be impossible so ill just give the scenario and see what comes back.....

There is a kitchen/diner room. There is a TV on the wall which is online for Netflix etc and has a Sky Q box attached. Because of it being on the wall no other devices can be wired to the telly. Sound currently comes through the speakers on the tv.

The other half of the room is a kitchen.

It is normal for one person to be in the dining area watching the TV or listening to Spotify on the TV while another person in the kitchen part is cooking.

Is it possible to output sound through the TV as above, but also have it come through another speaker in the kitchen so the person cooking can hear the audio from the TV without the volume on the TV having to be turned up and blast the poor soul in the dining area? I can't think of any obvious way of doing this but it can be that hard can it?

That would be the absolutely perfect solution thank you for that response! I'm not at the house the tv is in right now so cant check connections however it's on a samsung 32 inch ue22n5200akxxu model so may not have any connections that aren't very standard!

Edit: apparently it has optical digital audio out so I think I'm good to go!

Further Edit : would it pair to an Amazon echo that I have in the kitchen anyway? That can act as a bluetooth speaker I think.
