TV streaming

Hey all, I'm looking for some hardware that will allow me to stream Netflix directly to my TV in 1080p.

The Roku 2 XS and WDTV Live Streaming both look very good, but at nearing £80 each, I can't help but wonder if it's worth buying some kind of tablet with HDMI out?

Has anyone done anything similar before?

worked great @ 720p with my old asus transformer, so I would presume with newer, more powerful tablets this would be fine.

NowTV has netflix http://www.nowtv.com/ i have plex on mine too so i can stream content from my PC, and its only 10 quid, the box is a re branded roku
