Hi all

I was looking today at buying a TV for my room but realised I already have a fairly decent screen in the iMac so might as well use that if I can. Save me some money and space

But wondering, as I've never bought a TV tuner before for Mac or PC, which is the best to get. Just want it for freeview as well.

Don't really know what I'm looking for in terms of spec and software. At the moment I'm using the old "get what you pay for" rule but would like any advice from the experts on here if possible

Cheers

Whichever Elgato unit suits your budget, imo. I use an Elgato EyeTV DTT, it doesn't come with a remote but uses the Apple one. I like it, the software is very good too.

I'm told the Equinix Tubestick is quite good too, but I'd still go for the Elgato.
