Tv tuner for ps3 any chance?

prob a daft qn, anyone reckon theres any chance of a tv tuner peripheral being released for the ps3, so those of us that use monitors can watch tv aswell

wouldnt have thought so, the assumption that only a VERY small minority would be using a screen which didnt have a tv tuner in it already would stop sony from making it. There may be some little chinese company who might make one. But fundamentally, from a business point of view, what would be the point? Also, i think sony would rather have you buy a new display from them instead

Maybe via the Linux bit? Something like a MythPC release or something would be good.

2nd hand Pc andTv tuner card will set you back about £50 2nd hand, still its going to look pants on a monitor.

OP, I know you can get monitors with TV tuners built as well so maybe you should get one of those?
