TV Tuner Not Finding Channels

I have just purchased a Kworld Dual TV Tuner.

This came with a tiny aerial. At first I got the BSOD after WMC scanned for TV signals. I then realised that I hadn't installed the Windows 7 driver. I did this and got past this stage BSOD-free. However, at the end of this process it said that no hardware could be detected and offered for me to do it manually. The dual tuner appeared so I selected it (both tuners) and it scanned for channels, eventually finding none.

Now I am wondering how likely getting a more expensive indoor aerial would work.

Thanks.

I find that you get no signal from the ones they bundle - I had my TV tuner connected to the wall (to the aerial in the roof in my house) and it was perfect, so a strong aerial would probably be the way forward. You could also get a signal booster.

Probably looking at the aerial. I had a small aerial set up at home to begin with which found nothing. Are you able to move your PC to where you have an external aerial coming into the house?

Hi, there is no port in my bedroom for the external aerial. I will have a further play about when I get home tonight. There is an indoor aerial that I haven't tried but I am not sure if it is capable of receiving digital signals. If not, I have seen a place where I can get a 'High Gain Amplified Indoor Aerial'.
