Tv Tuner Problems, HELP!

Installed a "twinhand DTV ter" freeview and analogue tuner into my pc, plugged in a amplified ariel and set it all up, but when i go to load a channel up the video feed lags like anything, cant work out how to sort it
any ideas?

Have you set up the hardware configeration correctly, Harware acceleration and soundcard turned on for instance.

all the hardware stuff is set up properly, still getting the problem

Have you got any other programs running that are hoging the CPU?

I have the same card and used to get the same problems, what I did was untick the option to reduce cpu usage, and if I remember the older drivers where better.

Ain't had it installed for a few months as it was more hassle then it was worth.
