TV Tuner Recommendations ?

Dont buy the freecom one the quality is terrable and the signal is bad even when using a roof areial, but ive heard good things about the msi one but you would have to confirm it with someone that owns one
 
Google Nebula Digitv - it's the best there is. Software is awesome to use and feature packed.

Seems a little pricey, is it really that much better?

I just want to be able to watch freeview with standard aerial, I don't really need be able to receive HD and record with HQ or anything... Just to watch TV.. :)

Just bought this, got it home and the software will not even start... installed the software and driver and nothing working.... A loading screen comes up and the software doesnt start.. Yes its in a USB 2.0 port.. Sooo not impressed so far... :mad:

What Software version did you get with it ? I'm using Version 6.0.2.45 .

Is there a Blue Light on the Box ?

Connected to External Aerial.

( Watching the footy as I type , perfect ( Sorry , not rubbing it in ! ) )

Well the software and driver install fine, but when I try to start the main software it starts to load then nothing... The program even appears in task manager but nothing starts... Sent an e-mail to Evermedia or whatever their called...And also e-mailed supplier asking for a replacement...

Same software and driver most likely, there cd has the same version as is on the website..
 
Do you get an icon in the taskbar ?

If its in the task manager , it's running

Is there a light on the usb box ?

Yes its starts in the taslbar but the main interface will not start.. yes the light on usb box tuner is on..
 
Umm, I installed it again today and somehow its working ! Dunno why.... Notihng has changed since yesterday...Same driver, software, same usb port... I'm confused....

Quality is very pixilated when siting close to to the screen, perhaps using a 24" screen doesnt help that..

Also it does pickup all the channels though my aerial, don't suppose theres a way to received the topup tv channels is there??? :p

Another problem, although I do get all channels though none of them seem to be watchable, u get one channel working and then another one stops... and this is with an amplified aerial !... My freeview bot can get every channel clear with just bog standard aerial and thos pos can't get bugger all with amplified one..... its driving me nuts trying to get all the channels though... :mad:

if you are using a signal booster its not always best to have it on the max setting try turning it down
 
The booster doesnt have any options/settings..... Aslso the Tuner software is extremely unstable... If I try and do something in the background or even change audio modes it resets the system...
