Hi guys.

Do tv tuners or pvr cards exist with a scart input?

Ive been researching plugging my ntl box into a tv tuner card and ive discovered you have to buy a scart->s-video converter and then plug the s-video back into the tv-tuner card.

This seems to result and it bit of a blurry picture and I obviously want to bypass this stage! Anyone have any ideas?

It wont blur it, as scart to s-video is just a pin conversion (i think), no actual internal signal conversion.

There are no tv tuners with scart.

I've no idea what they were using but the Medion pcs as sold by Aldi had Scart input/output on the back of their machines.

I can't remember which is meant to be better, s-video or composite, but you could try comp if you have that input. I don't think you'll get the same quality on your monitor as you would on your tv though through video-in
