TV vs PC problem

I bought a new TV so i swapped my oldish 32inch LG LCD to my PC set up for some gaming action.

I can run the desktop and most games at 1920x1080 no problem, but when trying to run BC2 or Crysis 2 strange things happen, they both let me set the res ok but then my mouse dosnt correspond to the screen in the menus (in game is ok).

Extra problem in crysis 2 is that when i relog in it auto changes the res and also changes to windowed mode.

Im running a 6950@6970 through a HDMI lead.

Anyone got any ideas, do i have to set the ini file manually?

its definitely 1080p , but in those 2 games the mouse is of by a fair way? and in crysis 2 it keeps revert6ing to window mode at a lower res

In the menu screens the pointer dosnt highlight what i point at to get it to highlight the menu option i want i have to move the mouse down and to the right by quite a bit, this means i cant actually select any options on the right side of the screen.

Problem solved

Seems the 2 games i mentioned do not like DPI setting in windows to be above 125% ( i done this when i stated using the higher res as i only have 4 icons on my desktop).
