The wife wants a the frame tv for the bedroom.

When not in use she wants it acting as a picture frame but then have it pull and tilt out to face the optimal position for viewing from the bed.

However, all the ones I can see do tilt via having to adjust with a screwdriver which means we can’t put it back flat on the wall easily.

Tilt needs to be about -15. Tv size is 43

Anyone got any recommendations ?

I wouldn’t recommend “The Frame”. Part of the draw is to use the included slim-fit wall mount to make it look as though it’s a picture frame. If you’re not using that; it’s not going to be flush to the wall; it’ll look a bit silly; and -more importantly- it’s not a good TV for the money. It’s not as good as equivalently priced OLEDs or QLEDs.

I do as I’m told

She wants it unfortunately with a big picture frame on it

no help with your query I’m afraid, but I just thought I’d add our two penneth as my wife and I were in a similar position last year. We really wanted a frame tele for the bedroom, although we’re happy to use the flush mount that it comes with, however it really didn’t work in the bedroom. When it’s in picture mode it still kicks out some light when the lights are off and you want to go to sleep. You can set it to a timer I believe but it really defeats the object of what it is.

The tv looks lovely when it’s in frame mode with an image displayed, however if it’s just set to off due to the above timer it looks pretty ugly. Ended up returning it within a couple of days as if really didn’t work for us.

well she ordered so too late to not buy but guess we can return it.

Apparently they have a motion sensor now for showing that you can combine with a timer.

The one that we had had the motion sensor as well but by the time we turned the tv off in the evening with the sensor enabled it still shone quite bright for 20 minutes or so. I say bright, it really isn’t but it’s a very obvious light source coming from the wall.
