TV wanted, 40"+, 1080P, Freeview HD > £500 thats it.

So I been looking around for a new TV, I dont need 3D or 4K or coffee making facilities.

Just a TV.

So with a £500 budget (but £400 would be nice) what is worth a closer look.

Seen a few sony 43" Android TV with either a free soundbar or bluray player from Richersounds at £599.

Selling the free item would make these an interesting choice.

I went to john lewis to have a look at the 49" LG@£499.

Almost seems perfect and could be the one for me.

I have ordered that (last one in silver), reviews looked good and the LG 49" I was looking at has gone up in price from £499 to £550, so decided on this Sony instead.

Arrives this Thursday.
