Hi,

I've got Windows MCE running on my shiney new Conroe system, and I've got a 24" widescreen dell monitor.

Obviously I want to take advantage of both and ditch my old 21" TV.

The Dell has all kinds of inputs that I dont really understand (appart from the DVI that I'm using) there seems to be Composite something or other and S-video or something like that.

The dell can do Picture in Picture (pip) and I like the idea of watching TV on it whilst I'm gaming, so presumably I need some kind of decoder that will take an ariel cable and output to one of the above formats?

As you've prolly gathered by now I reached the extents of my audio/visual knowledge about 3 paragraphs ago... I'm thinking I need a TV Card, and OC's list is here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/TV_Cards.html what should I be looking for?

Thanks,

Valor.

TVCards don't output to S-Video/Composite, only take inputs. They display the TV picture over your normal monitor connection.

If you bought a normal TV Freeview box you'd be able to do what you want

The only problem is that plugging in a freeview box to a dell 24" lcd gives an absolutely terrible picture as the native upscaling abilites aren't good. Even using a TV card and upscaling software still gives an iffy picture - you just can't scale 720*576 to 1920*1600 and maintain quality.
