TV without LAN

I have an old Samsung ue32h5000ak which my son was using as a gaming monitor but now is sitting collecting dust in a spare room. It doesn't seem to have a LAN port of Wifi. If used a USB to LAN adapter would I be able to stream from the network drive?

Just buy a cheap firestick or chromecast. The ethernet to USB will most likely NOT work as the USB will be for media (memory stick) and not communications

As above, it's unlikely the TV would recognise the adapter.
