Hi all I have just installed this so I can share files through my Xbox 360 but it says

unable to conect to the server, please make sure it is running ?

I couldn't even load up the program on Vista 64. I know it doesn't help but because it's in beta you're probably best asking on the tversity forums.

This is a known issue because of Vista's overzealous permissions.
I managed to sort it (Vista 64), but I really can't remember how as it was a while ago.
I think it involved going into Services in the Admin Settings of Control Panel and then giving the TVersity service admin rights.
Sorry I can't remember enough to be more specific, but hopefully that'll give you a headstart to sorting it out!

Ok I have a a look in services but cant find where to give admin rights ?

WOuld installing XBMC be easier ?

I think you have to set it to log on with your user details, the Local System Account doesn't have enough priviledges.
I've only used it for my PS3, so I've really no idea if XBMC would be better, but it's really good once you've got it sorted.
Good luck!

I got fed up with trying to get Tversity or Transcode to work on my vista 64 with my xbox 360.

So I purchased a Toshiba 370 upscaling DVD player. I copy they stuff to disk. Works great with my Samsung 1080 HD 40" LCD TV.
