I found this tweak that helped allot with getting higher fps both in SP and Mp. The tweak dosen't effect the graphics quality at all.

It basically Uncaps the framrates To unlimited Via the Config File.

To do so follow these steps:

1.Browse to The Steam Folder .
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
2.then Navigate to the MOH Folder .....

3. Open the Engine Folder ..

4.Then The Config Folder ...

5.Now, Open the ''Base Engine File''

6.You should then see this Line of code , About 1/10 of the way down .

[Engine.GameEngine]
bSmoothFrameRate=True - change that to FALSE
MinSmoothedFrameRate=22
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=600 - You can change this to Anything above 200
ParticleMemoryManagerMemoryBufferSize=2600000
ParticleSystemKickoffDeltaTime=5.0

Now the Game should run allot smoother and You FPS should be higher.:)

let me No how it worked for you:)

cheers.

Still awaiting my copy but how will this affect both mp and sp given that they run on different engine?

You do realise most people on here have bad-ass PC's so are unlikely to need a tweak. ;)

As long as I get 60 FPS with V Sync on I don't care, though will turn V-Sync off for a game just to see what I can achieve. :D

I can max MoH quite easy with my 5870. I did this tweak and it takes the weight off the game it actually improves some what. ( keeps the gfx's and everything else ) Highly recommend it as it just smooths it out like op said nothing else.

Thanks for the heads up always nice to have a tweak to smooth things out before you've even managed to start playing :)

His monitor might be more than 60hz, but it could simply be a visual thing. A lot of gamers use low settings for MP due to improved visibility of enemies, less distractions etc.

This run/based on the unreal engine? Very similar file names to ut3 and:

[Engine.GameEngine]
bSmoothFrameRate=True - change that to FALSE
MinSmoothedFrameRate=22
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=600 - You can change this to Anything above 200

is straight out of the ut3 ini in which case this should really be done in the C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\EA Games\Medal of Honor\Config folder rather than the steam one.
