Tweaking bios with KeplerBiosTweaker

Hello Guys,

I have been tinkering with overclocking my 780Ti using this very useful thread from Gregster;

https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18545210&page=1

But as I switch between OSX and Windows I need to write the overclock into the bios of the card. I have managed to increase it slightly but I cant get it to the desired 1320mhz. under GPU-Z it shows that the base clock is correct at 1320mhz but when using GPU Test the clock is only showing 1147mhz.

If I open Precision X, the red boost arrow is pointing to the right point but it doesn't boost to that point.

Id much appreciate it if anyone could assist!

Thanks

Thanks for that, yeah I did mean to say keplerbiostweaker, I've just typed that a few times today trying different bios adjustments. Thanks for the info about svets, I will look into it after typing this post

I have a watercooling setup on the card with liquid metal ultra applied to the waterblock. So with a clock of 1320mhz, ram of 3750mhz and voltage of 1025, I am achieving a temperature of 56'c after an hour of torture testing.

The only reason I need to have the bios adjusted is because I use 50% 'Hackintosh' and 50% Windows. There is no easy way of clocking the graphics card under OS X so I've been testing and modding on windows.

Thanks again :)

Aorted thanks very much :-D

FurMark on original clocks I get 82 fps with a benchmark of 4955, but with the overclock in place I get 102 fps with a benchmark of 6148. that's a 24% increase which is amazing haha.

Great news that you've got your BIOS sussed, happy to have helped. You've got a really good card there, I wish mine would overclock that well.

I think i can go further on the RAM but for how far its went without any crashes I'm happy leaving it where it is. That program you recommended is very easy to use, my friend is going to have a toy with unlocking his 690 with it.

i would start saving money for a 980ti..

And leave that as it is if its still wokring ok..
Or even save some money and sell that one

Not in any need for a 980ti at the moment, this card does the business for me. This tweak was just to get the last bits of juice from it. I will be looking at a maxwell when they arrive though
