What is it with Twilight fans?

I was reading a discussion about this on another board and a digg article this morning and decided it had to be shared....be afraid.

Here's some quotes from "MLiT"

My friend gave me a perfume for my birthday. and it said “TWILIGHT” on it. I started screaming up and down, thinking she bought me the actual trademark perfume, but then I noticed the smaller print “By Sarah Jessica Parker.” I stopped screaming and said “Oh.” I really hurt her feelings.

Also, the guy who plays Edward had some words to say about this:

I dont get this Twilight thing. I just think its utter ****. Women have gone one step up the wierdomiter in my books :confused:
 
Some quality quotes there especially the perfume one, I thought Sarah Jessica Parker looks like a foot so she is in good company with this Robert Pattison fellow :D

What's worse is the moaney git who plays the vampire is all like "Ahh poor me, acting in a multi-million dollar film, getting paid loads and having the pick of almost any 16-50 year old woman in the world, life is hard, etc ".

What a dbag.
 
I recently joined a group on facebook called, "You're not a vampire, you're just a sparkly douchebag in a tree." I thought it was pretty funny. Let the Right One In, now there's a good vampire 'love' story film.
 
The Twilight films are so dull. I mean, nothing really happens, it's just a bunch of moody teenagers looking moodily at each other and Robert pattison barking loads of cliches about love.Also the guy who plays jacob really is a woeful actor.

i don't get the appeal at all :confused:
