Twitch builds a computer

It pains me to watch people that are so incompetent, you'd also think he'd of got a bit of a better case with a budget like that.

Tbh, unless you're often fiddling with it, a good case is the biggest waste of money there is imho, it's just a box for your components. The pc's I sell always get the cheapest cases, once it fits it sits. You might just as well have a wooden or cardboard box for it.

It only makes sense for enthusiasts imo. Cooling wise the difference is negligible, and definitely not needed for stock speeds. And while I appreciate larger cases for their ease to work on, it makes no sense if you only fiddle in it for 30 mins, to then leave it for the next 5 years.

lol, I stumbled across the channel while browsing Creative the other night. Went to sleep after watching him attempting to figure and fit the H100i cooler. Woke up and he was struggling to get the thing to boot.

Went on the following day and he's getting some POST errors. Last I saw, the main PCI-E slot is broken and he's going to run his card from the fourth slot which is also x16.

The guy shouldn't have built it on his own, let alone using Twitch chat for help lol. Plus his friends helping him on TeamSpeak were 'tards as well.

Not sure why he went for such an expensive machine as his first build. Didn't look like he got much for his money... maybe he went for the most expensive RAM and CPU. Plus, he has the Corsair H100 which he struggled with for hours, he should have just gone stock.

True, if you don't fiddle then it's a bit of a waste going for anything more than looks & compatibility. However, working with cheap cases is not a nice experience, especially if you want a relatively neat build with the fewest cut fingers possible :D. Also, cheap tends to look horrible and tacky after a few years.

I totally understand your point but I mean like take me for instance, I have a Phantek enthoo pro. At £90 its not exactly an overly expensive case and its nice to look at, easy to work in and an all round pleasure to have. Lets also admit when you're spending that kind of money you want it to be nice to look at right?

My I/O shields on some pc's I sold were made of duct tape :D.

Seriously, how hard is it, if you have an expensive big easy to work on case, building a pc is, what, 30 minutes tops ?
My own personal record is 20 minutes in a lian li A70f case. Didnt even need a screwdriver as the case uses toolless fittings, mobo held in with different length thumb screws. That case was a joy to work in.

This guy made me feel sick at the thought he obviously didn't work very hard or spend much of his own money on this stuff, if he had he would have taken better care and applied more common sense. That said, the fact he didn't use any forums, prior guidance from pros or watch many online videos regarding building a PC, suggest he has little common sense anyway.

Just annoying when I work and graft my ass off so that I can get by and provide for my family whilst I save for months on end to be able to have a powerful gaming PC hobby.

I had to admit though, he had me stunned for a while as I watched in awe at how damn stupid the guy is!

And the sad thing is even by us watching him be a moron he is making more money for literally nothing. Gotta love the internet
